Blood Moon Harvest tea brings together a tangy blend of dried fruits and fall pieces with a helpful dose of vitamins and essential nutrients. Blood oranges, one of the main components to the blend, boasts as much as 20% daily nutritional value of Vitamin C as well as providing a high fiber content. While Vitamin C is best-known for its immune system health support, it also helps with the formation of collagen. Collagen is the connective tissue that supports arterial walls, skin, bones and teeth (aka the skeleton). Dietary fiber, well known for its digestive regulation, is shown to lower cholesterol, balance blood sugar and aid in weight regulation.
The blood orange also gives the tea its spooky red color due to the presence of anthocyanin pigments typically found in red flowers, such as hibiscus, and provide the blood orange with its unique somewhat floral flavor. The citrus tang is bolstered by a combination of cinnamon, clove, cranberry, and black tea that gives spice and depth to the blend and brings all the fall goodness together.
